Last we heard America 12 is out, right?
Is Metro Conference, or something like that, still the favorite? I think that's the best choice

Aresco said that something to do with "Metropolitan" was likely and that the A-12 was unlikely
about two weeks ago.

FYI the New York Mets full name is New York Metropolitans. So maybe we can be the Dallas Mets.

The're all really bad. America 12 and the Metro Conference?? Are you kidding me? I think it was a huge mistake to let the Big East name slip away...however, i do like the American Metro Conference the best...

I liked AMC for short. Easy to remember and no number in the name.

Or American Athletics Conference...AAC. That would put us at the top of the list of conferences if list alphabetically.

I have no memories of the former metro conference, but I happen to hate the idea of any name involving "metro". I have no good suggestions however...

AAC isn't bad. What about something with the word "National" in it. National Athletics Conference or National Sports Conference or just THE National Conference ??? . . .
