SMU's Garrett Gilbert ranked no. 5.
Louisville is 1, UCF is 2, Cinn is 3 and Rutgers is 4.
Uconn is 6, Houston is 7, Memphis is 8, South Florida is 9 and Temple is 10.

I thought their assesment of him was a little too nice as they failed to mention his 1:1 TD:INT ratio and his poor accuracy, but I think middle of the pack is still fair.

The Big East doesn't have any QBs. Only PG, SG, SF, PF, C.

Also, each school has an upperclassmen projected to start. This reminds me of CUSA 2 years ago when we were arguably the best QB conference in the nation loaded with experienced upperclassmen.

I think Gilbert is going to have a much improved year, and to be honest, if Burcham starts it's because he is going to have a great year. I'm not worried about the QB. The receivers need to step it up.
