Geez, can we build an IPF already? This is getting embarrassing. As soon as I hit the lottery, the ECM Indoor Football Center is going up.

It really is getting freaking ridiculous. Why are we building an outdoor-indoor tennis facility before an IPF? Why wasn't one built in 2008 when we hired June? Why didn't SMU use a fraction of the $375M put into campus improvements and build one?

Another example of the SMU failure to compete at the highest level. SMU has lied about building one for over 5 years now. I'll believe it when I see it. Meanwhile, keep giving money to the AD.

From what I have read, SMU agreed to build it, was ready to build it and June decided he did not want his players to have to cross the street to get to the designated location. Thus it went back to the drawing board. If this is correct information, put the blame where it is deserved. Never could understand why they could travel to use one at a High School but not cross the street to practice in their own.

I don't know that SMU has ever used HP's facility.

Marcus High School in flower mound just build a nice brick exterior IPF. Perhaps we could use that. Matches our architecture

Or we could just stop whining until we have the ability to build the facility. Which of you crybabies is going to step forward and fund the project? When you write that check, be sure to include the cost of land in University Park in your calculations.

Until the day we play our home games in a dome stadium we should just get used to practicing outside. As a high school player I can remember at least 3 weeks of practice in temperatures in the 20s or lower. Unless lightening is the issue, just practice.
