Good for them. It is really going to suck playing there with 102,000 yelling Aggies. 80,000 is bad enough as it is. Any chance they use the increased capacity for more visitor seating? Probably not, but one can always hope

It's sad. We will be playing in a HS stadium against UH this year with less seats than the Aggies are adding!

Man, that move to the SEC has really paid off in one year. Good lord. I hate A&M but what a shrewd move on their part. Already paying off huge dividends in recruiting...I think they're in excellent position to overtake Texas as the preeminent program in the state for the foreseeable future.

I have to agree^^^. And the poor downtrodden stepchildren of Texas are ecstatic. Rightfully so. At least three friends/A&M alums have emailed me that info.

I'm not sure what's would be worse: watching UT rise back up and take back control of the state or have A&M follow through and watch them dominate the state

I say lets wait and see what happens when Johnny Football heads off to the NFL. The Aggies have usually found ways to [deleted] up even the best of recruiting classes

They are an engineering school that isn't allowed to build a bonfire. How do they think that they are qualified to build a huge stadium?

I wouldn't be surprised to see A&M lose 4-5 games this year. I know its going to kill you guys but UT is the surprise team to watch this year-extremely experienced team finally maturing at skill positions rather than relying on freshman and sophomores at those key positions. Texas has 19 returning starters-the most in the country

This is going to be some fight for the state between Aggy (whose fans are going nuts over a 3rd place finish in their division) and Bevo (who is fighting to get back to the top of a glorified flag football conference).
