NCAA Backtracks on Recruiting Changes

Thursday was a zero-steps-forward, two-steps-back sort of day for the National Collegiate Athletic Association, at least in terms of legislation. The Division I Board of Directors reversed two decisions it made in a recent spate of hasty rule making, urged by NCAA President Mark Emmert.

NCAA has a strange procedure-a governing board rules college football but the membership can overide changes that they never really passed in mass.

I'm not sure either rule was a big deal. Seems more like micromanaging than avoided unfair recruiting advantages.
