Let's hope it's 5 conferences with 16 teams, and not trimmed down to 4.

I think he's just still mad about Utah seal clubbing the crap out of Alabama in the Sugar Bowl a few years back when they were still in the Mountain West

Yeah, this would be a little more believable if he weren't playing utter 3 patsies in his non-conference schedule.

I say put all the schools that draw over 55,000 to home games in one league, that's about 32 schools and let them play each other in a semi-pro conference. That's 11 SEC, 4 Big 12, 4 PAC, 8 B1G, 3 ACC and 2 Indy, and the rest of us will play REAL college football. Travel shouldn't be an issue since they pull in big bucks. 4 eight team pods? Get rid of 'em and make everyone happy.

One wonders how the other sports would be handled. Would there be crossover to allow non Saban approved colleges to participate in the BB tourney? What about Lacrosse? Would golf, tennis, and soccer also be limited to the super team conferences? Or is this just a football conference? Sabin then would run into problems when states' legislatures or governors decide that the state supported school has to play other state schools. Or would that too be eliminated?
