Our producer @EricLopezELO acted on some tips & confirmed w/ a Cougars Athletics Dept. source that Houston has had "talks" with Big 12.
It's likely that SMU has been in discussion about bolting in the near future too. Big 12 board has a long thread on it as well.

Did he make a comment about June and his high powered offense? If so, we should definitely keep him as head coach forever. That is all the proof I need.

No, my sources are pretty solid when it comes to re-alignment. There's a lot of talk on the UT boards about it as well, apparently as a political move against A&M and Perry.

So to swat back at UT attempting a Houston/B12 coup, the SEC will have to go to Dallas. Hence that's why they're talking to SMU. We'd have to play games in Jerry World as part of the deal to get the Hogs on board with this.
