Crazy Solution To IPF Conundrum

First off, I know this has a zero percent chance of actually happening, but what if SMU were to agree to share a facility with the Dallas Cowboys? I read this morning that the Cowboys are considering moving their digs away from Valley Ranch. I'm not even sure where SMU could build such a complex, but if Jerry agreed to building the complex then SMU could lease the land to the Cowboys. BOOM! You'd have a world class facility that could be utilized by SMU and America's most valuable sports franchise.

Make it happen RGT!

A mediocre team that is more valuable than any professional sports team in North America and was responsible for the highest TV ratings for non-playoff games on every network that carries the NFL and six of the top 10 non-playoff ratings overall last season.

Yes the Cowboys have been mediocre over the last 15 years, but they are still an absolute monster in terms of revenue, exposure, and visibility.

I see Death Penalty written all over that. The NCAA is desperate for some team to crucify given all the Big Boys that have gotten away with stuff lately. And who better than SMU?

Ah c'mon...what are they gonna do? Kill us twice?!?! I think we've got a mulligan with the NCAA.

Jerry is likely going to want to create a development project for his new "Valley Ranch"-so the limited availiable real estate near SMU is going to shoot that down.

Ah but isn't Gene Jones on the SMU BoT?

Honestly I know this has no chance of happening. Just would be kinda cool.

Awesome idea, although probably far-fetched. Would be great for recruiting though

I thought you were going to suggest an IPF suspended by giant helium balloons...but sharing with the Cowboys would be good...perhaps that would make the "Dallas" in their name more appropriate.

Another damn good idea. Another opportunity to recruit.

From what (little) I know, Jerry's cool with SMU.

Seen him at graduation, etc...

I'd like to see us play in JerryWorld once a year - maybe the TCU series??

I do not think it has any chance of happening, but how in the world do you see NCCA infractions resulting?
