Miami would be a good destination, as would St. Petersburg. I would add Memphis, New Orleans and one in Texas. Also, RFK in DC is coming available due to the shift of Military Bowl to Annapolis.

I hear Aresco is in negations for the AAC to get the liberty bowl, Hawaii bowl, ticket city, armed forces bowls. That would be a great addition to this brand new, totally different conference. Stay tuned...

The TicketCity Bowl, now the Heart of Texas, played in the Cotton Bowl would be a great addition.

I wonder how many games JJ thinks he needs to plan to lose so he can get his team to the poi bowl.

I jumped on the Honolulu Star Website, most of the story is behind a pay wall. On the front page of the Sports section you will see the headline for this story and a picture of JJ directing a SMU practice.

Guessing they might be wanting to try and sign "big time" conferences instead of the "mid-majors" in hopes of having better attendance. On TV in December the stadium looked similar to Ford during a Thanksgiving home game against Tulsa. The "announced" attendance this past year of 30,024 was the smallest since 2005...........but on TV, it looked more like 8-10K.
