He can always claim he was cut only to make room for Charles Woodson:

He made it 3 1/2 weeks in an NFL camp, which quite honestly is 3 1/2 weeks longer than I thought he would. Maybe he'll find a home up north.

i don't think he actually made it to OTA's since he hasn't graduated yet. he wasn't going to be able to report until june 14th after he graduated since he's on the quarter system at EWU.

Not sure why he left EWU early. If he felt like he was going to be challenged for the starter spot, what did he think the NFL was going to offer? Kyle is a good kid; hopefully he has A DEGREE to fall back on. Not sure if his parents (Dad), steered him in the right direction. Mr. Pardon sort of did that with his other son … can’t think of his name right now (the real big guy). He was going to A&M, and then followed Mckovic to Arizona … wanted be TE and not OL, left the school … went Juco and that was it.
Maybe this was Kyle’s greater plan.

If he wanted to play in the CFL, I'm pretty sure he could have accomplished that staying at SMU and getting a degree to fall back on.

Anyone would have had to know that the NFL was a tremendous longshot, pre or post the EWU business.

Good luck to Kyle. He wasn't really given a fair shake after throwing those two INT's early against A&M. That said, he didn't help himself at all with his attitude afterwards according to several people around the program.

Has a QB ever coached by JJ made it to a regular season roster in the NFL?

Didn't Colt Brennan stick with the Redskins for a year?

No, the furthest any of his QBs have made it is the practice squad.

He never saw any playing time during a regular season game with the Redskins in 2008.......

Surely no one's implying that Kyle didn't make it with the Raiders because he was coached by June Jones. Or was it just another attempt to take any and every opportunity to take a dig at our coach?
Good luck Mr. Padron!
