Do you still stand by your claim that turner is the only president in the conference that had a personal relationship with the Tulane president?

That analysis is completely flawed, since even though we're ranked higher, we can't seem to beat Navy. Ever. :x

Confident that men's basketball will be a completely different story.

Football program has struggled against all the service academies since 1989.....although we have beaten them twice before JJ got here.

And yet we've beaten Tulsa, their number one team.

And yet we lost to Tulane

And yet we slaughtered Fresno State on national tv.

Rice. I'd be much happier about Fresno if I wasn't hit with a low such as Tulane or Rice. Let's beat who we're supposed to beat AND some that we aren't.

Rice went to a bowl, malonish. And spanked their opponent. Look, I'm not trying to get overly promotive of our team here, but let's not get overly negative either.

Yes, absolutely! Turner wasn't the only one as you subtlety suggested, but yes, he was the major sponsor. When will you guys grow up? Let's see "lets fire the HC" Don’t you get it? Turner's ego will not let a HC eclipse him, whether at Ole Miss or SMU. Hmmm, how did he become the Chairman of the conference? You silly, silly people! Until you get it we will never win...

Would we have a .500 season in the Big 12?

Another way of saying this is that you admit that the claim you made multiple times that Turner was the only conference president who had a personal relationship with the Tulane president was wrong.

In fact, you did make the claim that only SMU wanted Tulane in the Big East:

Ah, winning winning. In the Big 12 last year, we'd have gone 5-7 overall and tied for second to last place slightly behind Iowa State.
