UH view of AAC

A very close friend is a professioanl Texas legislative lobbiest who represents the U. of Houston. The Coogs do not plan to stay in the AAC long and expect that they will move up within five years to a better conference somewhere. The NCAA may end up having the SEC, Big 12, Big 10, Pac 12, and the ACC as the only power conferences. The AAC RPI does not look strong enough to be included among the BIG time for the Football Playoof Bowls. Guess SMU will have to make plans too like the UH is doing.

AAC is a good intermediary conference for football. Can be a great basketball conference. I see a day when fb and bb conferences will split entirely.

Our plan should involve winning and filling up our stadium otherwise those P5 conferences will laugh at it.

So basically UH's view of the AAC...is everybody else's view of the AAC. Whew. Good to know.

Not sure if OP is trolling or has been living under a rock.

I know of no desire for SMU to move up to the big time, much less any plan to do so. Wait, isn't that what we've been doing since SMUtoBCS.com??

Nobody really knows exactly what happened, so I can't tell you anything that would be accurate.

Accuracy is not the strong point for a lot of ponyfans. I hear the ACC/SEC/B12/PAC-12 wants to grab us
