This was asked in another thread and got buried, but can anyone shed some light on what happened with this kid? Looks like he is no longer on the roster. I know he came in overweight but was supposedly getting into fighting shape, then nothing of note out of camp and suddenly he is gone. Seems an odd transition for someone who supposedly had such high expectations set around him.

There was an issue (beyond his control) that prevented him from playing last year. Being out of football for a couple of years, it's understandable that he might not have been in ideal shape. I haven't heard why he either didn't make it to or didn't make it through Spring ball, but one would assume that since he was playing right tackle that he should have shown up on the 2-deep roster over a couple of RS freshmen.

If he's not on the roster, that sounds like he's done. Who knows what really went on, but if he really is done, I wish him well, wherever he ends up.
