Aldrick Robinson draws big praise from Shanahan

Shanahan, though, saved his highest praise for Robinson.
"Aldrick has made strides each year that he's been here," the coach said. "I think he’s having one heck of a camp. Not only does he have speed, his consistency catching the football right now is as good as it's been."

My favorite moment of practice was a diving catch WR Aldrick Robinson made in the back of the end zone over CB Richard Crawford. It was a bit of a broken play (possibly a sack in a game situation), but the quarterback heaved the ball up, and Robinson dove to catch it in the back of the end zone near the group of defensive backs who were watching practice.

I still worry about Aldrick getting caught in a numbers game in DC, but it's great to read stuff like this about our guys.

Looks like the Redskins' WR position is about to get more crowded, as the team apparently will be signing veteran Donté Stallworth in the coming days.

Sounds like things are getting crowded. ESPN is reporting that the Skins signed Stallworth and Devery Henderson.
