We need to replace him with a stud recruiter. It would be nice if that coach can actually develop players, but recruiting ability is much more important.

At the minimum the timing of the departure is quite unusual.

He's been gone for a while....just was announced late

Wasn't terribly impressed with the special teams play. Would rather have a stud recruiter in that spot.

Supposedly the replacement is in place also.

Shouldn't the story indicate that gansz was let go by smu and hunt's block rate went down after he got here.

Would provide a more negative angle - which is always a must.

Maybe he got tired of having to eat dinner so early with all of the other coaches...........

Maybe someone told him he actually had to try and recruit at least one player at some point in his time here and that was just too much to handle.

And he is being replaced with a graduate asst.?? Sounds like JJ is really going to step up his recruiting efforts.

Is that what you said when they converted klemm from graduate assistant to offensive line coach?

GC- I believe that Klemm had a few more 'skins on the wall' than this replacement. Don't recall the possible new guy as having playing NFL ball. Also, Klemm was one helluva recruiter.

He went to rehab for alcoholism again. He went last Spring too. I wish him a speedy recovery, but the team must move on.
