Today while wearing a blue SMU cap and a Bama shirt walking down the beach a stranger just said "Pony Up!". I'm so used to RTR, that I almost replied Roll Tide, but caught myself and said "Pony Up" right back.
Then he said, I hope you guys beat aTm.
The long sojourn in the wilderness is ending. The Tech game is right around the corner.

It would so freaking great if both SMU and Alabama could beat Aggy this season.

Where do you live? I'm in Mississippi between Pascagoula and Biloxi. I always wear my SMU hat but no one ever says anything. Most people at work didn't know who SMU was.

Most people ask me if I went to saint Mary's when I wear my SMU gear out in Cali. It gets old....

Funny. Same here. That's why most the stuff I wear says 'Southern Methodist' & has the logo on it.

Reminds me of my last trip to Shreveport.... Wore an SMU hat to the casinos and ended up having a good talk with a gentleman from Arkansas about SMU football.... By midnight he was humming Peruna on the blackjack table... Only on hands when he won though...

Don't forget SMU for 'Santa Monica University', too! Anolther joke I or 'mis-identification'.
