Any chance our offense goes more "up-tempo" this year or will our QB continue to have to do the "walk of shame" over the sideline after every play?

Our offense is going to be far more up tempo this year.

Hal Mumme will have something to do with our team becoming faster.

Jones has openly said that he (Jones) will still be calling the plays. Do not expect anything different other than hopefully better execution.

June may be calling the plays but we will be much faster.

There have been a lot of hints in interviews and stories about spring practice that they are working on a more up tempo offense.

They worked on it last year too...

I thought I heard that we were going to be signalling in more plays. I hope that is the case. I would love to see our time between plays get down under 20 seconds.

Jones has explained the qb coming to the sideline after each play. He has said that it gives him (Jones) an opportunity to coach his qb. I assume he has the opportunity to include more instruction than a play. GG being a senior and hopefully matured and well schooled in SMU's offence sideline visits may not be as important. I can see the positive and negative sides to the sideline visits.

June does what June does. I also don't expect many changes and I bet we still see GG make the journey to the sideline after every play.
