Will Coach June Jones have the ponies in our 5th straight bowl game?
I'm gonna say YES!

if he does, I think that will be a testament to his coaching ability and willingness to change the traditional RnS

or better if there are more AAC teams eligible than bowl slots available to us. We don't bring many fans so we would be low on most bowl's pick list

Daniel Burnham: "Make no small plans, for they do not stir the soul."
I want and expect 8+ wins. This is the year, we become relevant again despite the graduation losses, especially on Defense. This year we have to out score better teams.

not sure you can say we dont bring many fans. our only bowl game test was the BBVA bowl - which we traveled very well to. Hawaii on Christmas eve doesn't count - only atheist are eligible, and the Military bowl had great attendance but it was our own stadium.
If the game is at all relevant we will travel well.

After losing last year's senior class, I don't expect a bowl game. I'm hoping for one, like everyone else, and I think we CAN make one ... but we lost a ton of talent and production. There are young guys who seem to have ability ready to step in, and hopefully they are. I have gotten to the point where I expect us to make a bowl game. I think we can do it again this year, but we have a lot of questions that need answering first.
OK, yes -- let's make it 5 in a row!

If we have recruited as well as some of the hard core June Jones supports say then we should be fine in replacing those players. After 5 years we should be reloading not rebuilding. We will see.

The way our recruiting classes have been ranked I expect the next two years to be our best yet under the current regime. I do expect a decline after the 2014 season, but 2013 and 2014 should be our best yet. Whether that translates to more wins, I don't know given our increased schedule strength, but I think it is reasonable to expect us to reach at least 7 wins in the regular season both this season and next.

The X factor is JJ's ability to mine copper out of clay. All I know is I'm ready for the next step to entry level Top 25.

We certainly have a lot of Juniors and below starting, so that could mean recruiting has gotten better. Putting the best talent on the field or it could be read by naysayers as the recruiting wasn't very good, I suppose.

I want any bowl besides the Hawaii Bowl and we will make it to one with a 7-5 record. I hate having our team in a bowl game and yet not going because of the horrible logistics of going to Hawaii on Christmas Eve.

6-6 will be a good season considering we play the following schools:
Texas Tech
Texas A&M
TCU
Rutgers
Cincinnati
UConn
South Florida
Houston
Central Florida
We will have to win at least a couple of these games in order to go bowling.

So six years into a coaching regime, the expectation is 6-6? Clearly our goal of being top 25 isn't any closer today than it was when JJ started.....and next year there is a very good chance we will be starting a QB with limited college experience.....
