This is how we go 7-5. We will win all 6 of our home games at Ford, lose all of our road games except at Memphis.

I believe we can go 7-5 and will pick off a few more winning teams the season at home. I however, could see taking down USF on the road and potentially losing to UCF at home.

Like I posted yesterday, there are only a few games on the schedule that I feel confident in predicting the outcome:
Montana State - WIN
A&M - LOSS
TCU - LOSS
Memphis - WIN
Temple - WIN
Other than that, I really don't know how this thing will play out. We could be anywhere from 3-9 to 9-3 depending on how we play and our ability to stay healthy.
Tech - 40% chance of winning
Rutgers - 50-50
Cincinnati - 40% chance of winning
UConn - 60% chance of winning
USF - 50/50
Houston - 50/50
UCF - 50/50

We beat Tech and TCU.

TCU may very well be the best team in the Big 12 next season. That would be a pretty big upset for us to win that game.

I think TCU is very good. But seems to me they don't have the talent to be top in the Big 12 next year

They bring back a ton of guys from a team that beat Texas in Austin and gave Oklahoma all it wanted in FW last year. We will see how it plays out but they have the talent to win the conference.

No clear cut favorite to win the Big 12 next year. TCU has just as good of a shot as anyone else. It seems like the Mack Brown era at Texas is on the downswing, Stoops lost a lot at OU, you never know about KSU either. My darkhorse candidate to win the Big 12 this year is Baylor. Art Briles is the best coach in the Big 12 and Lache Seastrunk is a beast.

Baylor will be an interesting team, but they have got to play better defense to win the conference. I also wouldn't be quite so dismissive of Texas. The 'Horns bring back a lot of talent and Ash should be better next season. I would think that Texas, TCU, OU, and K-State have the best chance to win followed by Okie Lite.

7-5 will be very difficult. 5-7 or 6-6

i think TCU is more like 5th in the big 12. UT and OU have too much depth - and UT will have a hate on TCU something bad. K State always reloads with JC idiots, and OSU is very tough also. WVU is a toss up. Baylor could also take them down. The only sure wins for them in my book are Tech, Kansas.

Tech won't be a sure win. They have to go to Lubbock to play them.

agree. I'm more on the 5-7 bandwagon, but the second you predict anything below 6-6 everyone gets bent out of shape. I'd love 6-6, but I'm not sure the win is there

If Texas can't win 10 games with the whole team back, Mack should step aside. They got like 20 starters back. They really should be the favorite but every one is gun-shy to pick them. They are loaded with quality and experience. They are no younger relying on youth at the most important positions.

If this was still CUSA, I would say 7-5 at worst.
