Among those planning to walk on in 2013

... is one Jack Neuheisel - son of Rick, the former Colorado/Washington/UCLA coach. Found him listed on-line as a tight end who (at the time) was said to be 6-2, 220. A couple of newer listings have him standing 6-3.
247sports gave him 2 stars and called him the No. 117 tight end in the country and No. 251 player in California. Also has played some linebacker.
Looked at UCLA, South Carolina, UNLV, Harvard and Yale. Older brother, Jerry, is a redshirt freshman QB at UCLA.

Great find PP. Obviously a smart player, maybe he turns into an asset for us in time.

No, but adding the son of a coach of Neuheisel's stature as a walk-on can only help. If he doesn't play, we lose nothing. If he does, he's a bonus.

Is there a list son line omewhere of players who plan to walk on at SMU this fall? Or one of players who have been invited?
