They are so correct in their "Our interpretation of these results is that SMU has a sleeping giant of a fan base" conclusion.

Nice, some recognition for the fans that do care....
Lets get a good on-the-field product and kick this thing into overdrive
I really feel the Tech game might be the most important game of the season in my opinion....start off a very important season (new conference) on the right foot could be huge. Not to mention the visibility the game will have.

You can tell it's a quality site by the way they just pasted the Memphis logo over Tulane and likewise for Houston and Tulsa.

Emory Business School apparently did the study and Emory does have a good business school.

Interesting premise. On one hand we underperform, but over perform based what you would expect based on our on-field results. Perhaps we can build on this valuation, and turn it to a huge positive. This is a possibility, but if we are not proactive, then it becomes another missed opportunity.
In summary, we need to light up our students, alumni and fan base, which will ignite the hidden value. I like the results of the study, but it is no replacement for packing Ford and winning 8-9 games a year. Then it becomes self sustaining. Pony Up!

You summarized it beautifully, WP. There is hope,but this is no time for backsliding. As I have said, the next head coaching hire will be our most important. The stakes are high.
