I haven't really seen any coverage except for twitter. Nothing on ESPN.

Jones seemed up beat and positive which was a welcome change. He stated Mumme has re-energized the staff.

Like what he said about team needing to give more new fans a reason to come. Said even if every student showed up we only fill a corner of the end zone, so we need to give them a show/experience. I think, like above, that bringing Mumme in has given him some new energy.

I think Mumme takes over next year. Or it is announced that he will take over when June's contract runs out.

But Mumme had some pretty tough challenges at New Mexico State and Kentucky. Not known for winning football at either one. I think Valdosta State was good. I don't see him as the head coach we need at SMU in 2015. We need a BIG name guy.

I find it interesting that they put it on watch ESPN, but there is no link or mention of it in the ESPN AAC blog. That's right, after all the complaining, ESPN gave the AAC its blog back... sort of.... I'm not sure they gave us a blogger
