I know this info was posted before but can't seem to find it. Can someone please post what the changes in street parking around campus are for football season?

As I recall, all the streets south of Mockingbird down to Beverly Drive will be posted with "Residents Only " parking signs.

That's where a bunch of Tech fans are planning to park according to their Scout board. I tried to dissuade them of that but they deny access to non-subscribers. Any Tech lurkers may want to spread the news

Or let them be ticketed if they choose to do so.

Thanks. That is shameful. Nice neighbors. it is just 6-7 days out of the year for crying out loud.

I live a block west of Greenville Ave just down from the Granada theater and assorted restaurants and we get a lot of parking on the streets around my house four nights every week. It at times can be a pain, but really it's not that big a deal. You get use to it. The only time it is a real problem is when you want to have friends over on a weekend night and they sometimes can't find a place to park.

Anyway, like you said, for these people it is only 6-7 days a year...they are a bunch of wimps.

I always find it funny when people move to a part of town so they can be close to activities, nightlife, etc., knowing what's around the house when they move in, and then complain incessantly because of parking or noise around their house.

...or buying a house under the flight paths of an airport and then complaining about the noise. 8)

One of my pet peeves too. I live in the M Streets area and I hear more whining about entertainment parking and the St Patty's Day party than you could believe. Really shocking

Yeah that thread was deleted for some reason. I found it on google cache yesterday. The newspaper clipping said you can't park in the region east of Hillcrest and north of Beverly.
