for flagship program of the new American Athletic Conference - putting a whuppin' on Purdue
I don't think it will be ugly. There should not be that big of a talent difference since we are in the same conference and we have had a couple of classes to recruit to that level.LHS81 wrote:SMU game @ Cincinnati is going to be ugly
When you say "should", do you mean there should not be a big difference in talent if we had been recruiting well or do you mean you really think we have the same talent as them?Rebel10 wrote:I don't think it will be ugly. When you have the publicity of going to that conference as June has said that it should help recruiting.Grant Carter wrote:When you say "should", do you mean there should not be a big difference in talent if we had been recruiting well or do you mean you really think we have the same talent as them?Rebel10 wrote:I don't think it will be ugly. I just do not see how being in the same conference as them for the first year has any bearing on the relative talent level. If we were starting in the SEC would you say there should not be that big of a talent difference since we are in the same conference?
Again with should. Do you really think that is the case or are you saying it should be like that if we had been recruiting like we should have been?Rebel10 wrote:When you have the publicity of going to that conference as June has said that it should help recruiting.Grant Carter wrote:When you say "should", do you mean there should not be a big difference in talent if we had been recruiting well or do you mean you really think we have the same talent as them?Rebel10 wrote: I don't think it will be ugly. Nothing makes much of a difference when you put in zero effortsbsmith wrote:Should but June said awhile ago that the conference change didn't make that much of a difference in recruiting (I think an old thread was dedicated to it).
I am planning to drive down from Chicago and hope the ride back isn't a long one.LHS81 wrote:SMU game @ Cincinnati is going to be ugly
