We are one of those teams

We're one of those teams that get paid to play good teams. We won't be anything better. Maybe competitive in the AAC in a few years. Maybe a few more worthless bowl games. That's it. We won't fill the stadium unless someone good is visiting at which time we'll be out of the game by the end of the 1st quarter.

At least the boulevard is fun. And, basketball should be much better.

I feel better now. Thanks for listening.

Our whole conference pretty much sucks. At least the ones who are staying.

My bad. I thought I read that earlier this week. So, why play AM? Why can't we stack up wins against (thinking...) Florida AM?

So you want to play a cupcake schedule? Imagine if we ran the table playing an FCS, TX state, UTSA and UNT OOC. Then we didn't get into the playoff. You'd be livid. Sack up and accept that we are playing a few of the big boys, as we should.

I'm sorry but I hope you're kidding. Get into a playoff?

SMU is a basketball school. SMU football isn't prepared to play the big boys.

Who would be a cupcake for us? Tulane? Rice? Montana State? Sure, I think we need any easier schedule. I like winning. Look at any top 25 team. They play an easy schedule until conference play...

SMU scored a TD!

Playoffs start next year. It's possible to get into I guess.

Come on guys. I'm talking theoretically. Was our schedule tok though this year? Yeah. But most top 25 teams play tougher in-conference schedules than we do. If you're afraid to play serious competition then why even compete?
