He called off the dogs early. That was pretty classy. Most coaches would not do that. If Manziel stays in they hang 70 on us.

And did it to the Heisman frontrunner - could have padded his stats and highlight reel.
He has a soul...

Or maybe he's tired of Johnny Bullshat and won't use him more than he needs to to win.

after seeing Baylor, Louisville and Ohio State hang 70 on their opponents today, it was nice of Sumlin to not feel like he had to join them

It is truly a sad state of affairs when we are thanking the opposing coach for calling off the dogs after one series in the third quarter and playing his second and third lines and QBs for the remainder of the game. We should be totally embarrassed and any rationalizations by JJ are unacceptable..

Yep - their 3rd stringers looks better than our 1st. Thank you. Although the onside kick was uncalled for

don't worry...we are only 1-1/2 recruiting classes away from being able to compete..in other words, an entirely new starting offense and defense and a few quality backups to supplement the guys we have now. They showed they can compete with A$M's 2nd and 3rd teamers

I think the onside kick was to say, not only do I have superior talent but I'm a better coach than what you've got too

Well it was the first quarter and they wanted to get ahead by more than 14. After that I guess Coach Sumlin saw how we were struggling against his defense and had mercy on us.
