The next coach will not have an offense that takes a year( or 5) to learn.Rebel10 wrote:Yes, I know that but since it take about a year to learn the offense and Shead graduates after next year that would leave a 2 year gap between Line and the next back we recruit if we do not get a running back in this class.
Wasn't he the best player in Michigan his senior year? So far he looks like the SMU version of Case McCoy........Terry Webster wrote:I wish that they would put P. Line on the bench and let KC get the carries. Line is just too slow.
Why is a Texas school going to Michigan to recruit a running back? U of Michigan doesn't even recruit Michigan running backs.PonySnob wrote:Wasn't he the best player in Michigan his senior year? McCoy........
I know I'm going to get heat for this, but here we go. Zach Line was ok. He was decent. He was not a BCS level back. He was a good CUSA back. Zach had multi touchdown games against Memphis and Sam Houston. We didn't hear from him in the Baylor or A&M games. Schools like Sewanee rely on word of mouth recruiting. The P5 teams sign players with more empirical data (stars).Big Hoss wrote:The last one from Michigan worked out for us pretty well, and he was a LB in high school.
He ran for 140+ in college stationdirtysouthpony wrote:I know I'm going to get heat for this, but here we go. Zach Line was ok. He was decent. He was not a BCS level back. He was a good CUSA back. 140 yard one ts game is an average game for a college running back. Not great. Average. Zach Line would have played linebacker or special teams at TX, A&M, OU, Baylor, Alabama, LSU, Michigan, ND.....Mustangsabu wrote:He ran for 140+ in college stationdirtysouthpony wrote:I know I'm going to get heat for this, but here we go.
