Borrowed from Schema on AAC Board-could be worse because this is really CUSA 2.0-I'd probably go to all the Bowl sites-think we very likely would be headed to Ft Worth though-because they are going to slot these Bowls to get the best attendance. Here's Schema's post:

"I belive this is what has been announced so far, but I may not have it entirely correct. I'm assuming Sun Belt will be in the Miami Beach Bowl in 2017 and 2019, but I haven't seen that in print yet. I also made an assumption on Beef 'O' Brady's vs ACC in 2018 based on the report they the ACC will play in the bowl three times. However, 2014 and 2016 are the only years I've seen confirmed by the ACC.

So glad we got out of cusa!!

That's a reality punch in the gut!

This is pretty awful you would think we could at least have two bowls to play #5s of the P5 conferences. Strangely I feel we are in a worst spot then back say 2009. At least we had some time to improve to show P5 we meant business.

The fact that we could play the 11th place team in 14-team conference really shows you how getting to a bowl means zilch in terms of achievement. It's extra practices, swag for your players and a little media exposure. Valuable to your program, but means absolutely nothing. And yes, this list is proof we made the cut to be in C-USA 2.0.

Miami beach, Bahamas, and Hawaii are all pleasant spots.

There are still bowls that you can get to by achievement. In lieu of that these just add a 13th game if you qualify and how can another college football game in a bowl setting be bad?

Cool destinations. Hope we can make it to all of them in the coming years, with perhaps a BCS bowl bid sprinkled in there once a new coach arrives.
