deja vu all over again; back playing with the larger public schools and looking like they might become the doormat of the conference. Kind of like the "good old days" of the SWC

No more UNLV's and Colorado State's on the conference schedule anymore.

Good. TCU fans are starting go think about firing their awesome coach, while UT may have an excuse to keep their so-so one.

True TCU is finding MWC talent doesn't cut it in the Big 12. True that BU's unbelievable rise is denying them recruits they otherwise might get. True TTU looks like they will be solid and get potential TCU recruits. It will be a long road.
But they are insane if they fire Patterson. He should be given lots of rope for his loyalty and performance.

Also true that SMU isn't in the same league as TCU, they will beat us 8 out of 10 times and we begged go get into the Big 12 so we could also be a whipping boy.

TCU will enjoy cashing their Big 12 checks but they will lose their fan base because fans come to see you WIN not to play.

2018 when the Big 12 GOR expire will be an interesting time in Texas.

He took an unnecessary potshot at the fans.

Honestly, I think he's gone after this season or next. If he doesn't get the UT job he'll go to K-State and continue what Bill has started.

Where is the interview? What exactly did he rant about? The rise of the new/younger HCs, Briles, Sumlin and Kingsberry will impact all the Texas football schools' recruiting. Especially us, UH and TCU. We'd better get a good one or we will miss yet another opportunity to improve our stock.
