Obviously good points and observations that I wouldn't normally pick up on, but Goddam it's endless.

Don't mind the game announcers that much, but I'm slowly turning into "no volume guy"...

Just wondering if I have any fellow gameday mute button operators....

this ain't a great weekend of college football. Miami v Florida St-a battle of unbeatens but Miami is an unbelievable 22 point underdog. Tech v Oklahoma St is potentially a huge Big 12 game but not much national interest.

A&M v UTEP
Baylor off (right?)
SMU off
Texas (Longhorn Network so who cares)
TCU v West Virginia
UH (already played)
Rice (already played)
OU off

If I had a gun with two bullets, and I was in a room with Hitler, Bin Laden and Jesse Palmer, I would shoot Palmer twice.

doesn't Baylor play OU this weekend?

- nevermind, that is next week.

Why don't you watch something else?

We can watch A&M/UTEP. Probably get a good idea of what next year's A&M QB can do about 7 minutes into the game.

Made the move to switch the volume off a few years ago. Cutting out all the repetitive cliches, jokes, agendas and rhetoric really enhanced my viewing experience.

Yeah - - Palmer's Drakkar Noir would contribute to the stink as well.

You didn't list Herbie - but I hate that guy even worse than Palmer. I wonder if he gets his hair and his teeth bleached at the same place?

That had to be one of the funniest moments in sports broadcasting. The reaction of the other guys is priceless.

SMU could have probably had a nice TV audience this weekend in Texas at least if we had played a decent opponent. Nuthin' else to do.
