Fear the Horse should be one of our hashtags or what our flag carriers show in the field! Either that or #Stampede #fearthehorse #horsepower
Where did you find a copy of the old Copeland-era Boise State SMU logo?feelthehorsepower wrote:Fear the Horse should be one of our hashtags or what our flag carriers show in the field! Either that or #Stampede #fearthehorse #horsepower
It was a blind, unfocused group that liked itStlhockeyguy02 wrote:I don't even know what kind of "focus group" would say that's a good idea.
Didn't say anything about taking peruna out...PonySnob wrote:Peruna is my mascot.........
Everytime someone comes up with an opinion to change something about SMU's traditions or game day activities...you are either a troll, or a JJ supporter. You have got to be kidding me!skurtn wrote:Why do I feel like this is a trolling thread...
"Fear the Frog"? Yes, I'm only suggesting we come up with something of our own. It doesn't have to be that outright like "Fear the Horse"...I like "Horsepower" or "Stampede" as something our flag carriers could carry when peruna runs the field...one flag for each letter of "Horsepower" and then a large SMU flag with the logo.skurtn wrote:Oh, you were serious? I take it you haven't seen our rival's slogan lately?

So you prefer we keep "Pony" and all these references that make us a joke to all the other schools in Texas, so we can keep having 10k fans show up at each game, instead of building a cool, fresh and sexy brand for our program that will draw the community, local high schools, churches, alumni and our apathetic students to feel proud of their school to come to game day and get to 30k fans on average or more?!?!?! If we are trading the existing 10k or less for 30k or more new fans...I don't see that as a bad deal!DiamondM75 wrote:skurtn wrote:Oh, you were serious? Ding Ding Ding - we have a winner.
If Fear the Horse is a slogan for SMU, it will save me sooooooo much money. No Mustang Club, No Season Tickets, No Parking Pass, etc. I would drop ALL support.
We also need to stop using "Ponies or Pony". We need something mean, nasty, tough.
