TCU drew poorly this Saturday v. West Virginia. I didn't see the official numbers, however I was at the game with a business associate and I was very surprised by the sparse crowd.

A good chunk of that is because no one in Texas gives a rat's hind parts about the Mountaineers.

Mmmmm. West Virginia food. Actually a beautiful place and a campus full of slu*s.

My mindset back then: The past is the past. Live in the present.
Today I am boring

I did not watch one play of that game on tv. I don't want to watch West Virginia.

The same reason TCU is in the Big 12. The conference needed warm bodies to try to keep the remaining members from looking elsewhere and Neinas took the two schools who either could pay their way out of commitments to other conferences by 2012 (TCU) or said that they would sue their way out by 2012 (WVU).

I have trouble talking about other schools' attendance when ours is so poor.
Plus, whenever TCU resurfaces their concourse from the heavy game time traffic, the fans will have to all come out and be in the stands.

Mrydel, sounds like you need to get a little more comfortable with hypocrisy. I have embraced it, and have found it makes life more fun, particularly when judging others.

I watched some of it, it wasn't packed, but respectable for a bottom level P-5 team. It looked like maybe 33 - 36,000. I'm sure they reported a lot more.

The rest of the fans were in the concourse

And the tailgates. Remember it only matters that they paid for the seats not whether they use them or not

Tcu is in the big 12 because they've been a very competitive program and have local ties to nearly every school in the big 12.
WVU is not comparable. No history with Texas and the surrounding region. And no one around here gives a crap about them.

I'm surprised our biggest frog lover hasn't come on to defend them yet.
