Baylor v OU
Oregon v Stanford

that's got to be a first-just a few years ago no BCS conference except for ACC wanted to play on Thursday Nite-that was the smaller conferences' window

It will be Baylors offense against OUs defense. Based on prior performance of OU, Baylor will stomped them to the ground. I say it's going to be like 56-24

Harry will be getting minimal sleep Thursday night. Really looking forward to two GREAT games.

Bama/LSU on Saturday night isn't so bad either.

Everybody talks about Baylors offense but how is their defense? Granted, they haven't had many points scored on them, but they have played exactly nobody out of conference. Kansas State and West Virginia were able to put up some points so they made it a game, but it's going to be interesting to see if they are a complete team.

Interesting, Baylor, for all its high scoring, is only averaging about 50 or so more yards per game passing than SMU. Our O may not be that far away from really putting some scoring number up against someone.

Remember that Baylor has run the ball far more than they've passed it (335 rush 220 pass) and they still have the nation's #1 pass offense (#7 in rushing). Where they really separate themselves from us is their explosiveness (13.28 yards per attempt-#1 in FBS) and efficiency (207.12 rating-#1 in FBS).

K-State showed the world how to beat Baylor-they just couldn't pull it off. Ball control-Baylor can't score if they aren't on field. Throw in better CBs who don't let Baylor have 4 big plays-and K-State could have won.

It will be great to have the opportunity for us to scout some of our potential bowl opponents if we make the BCS.

I've already posted this article, but this is a fascinating in-depth look at Baylor's offense and the problems it causes opposing defenses.

main difference -just watch where Baylor's WRs line up versus where SMU's WRs line up. They spread the field even before the ball is snapped.
