I was checking out the upcoming playoff games and noticed none at Ford Stadium. I did see where Allen Eagles and Mesquite Horn were playing at the Cotton Bowl-that game should be at the Hilltop! I also noticed Baylor was hosting games.

Whatever the reason I hope its not because we priced ourselves out of it in an effort to money grab

Lake Highlands is even hosting Longview and McKinney Boyd. I sure wish we could get those Longview guys through SMU facilities.

Yep, I wish my Lobos were playing in Ford next weekend. Playing in your "Boneyard" again for
the second round like last year.
We've played in Ford a couple of times, and may even have the longest field goal ever kicked
there. It was between 55 - 60 yards helped with a 35 MPH wind out of the north against Denton
Guyer in one of the 5A semi-finals in 2010. We had a blocked punt in the last minute which led to
a late Guyer TD to knock us out. In the Tom Landry Classic in 2012 we were blown out by
Coppell, and had our QB knocked out for the year in the 2nd qtr. Not too many good memories for
Longview in Ford yet.

I haven't paid attention this year but last year Ford had a particularly high profile schedule of numerous playoff games on campus. I remember 2 Desoto games in particular. Desoto beat I believe Skyline and then they lost to Allen-right? We talked about it on here. It used the be a problem getting teams to have playoff games at Ford. My impression is that has changed but I'll look in to it

We should try to get as many HS regular season and playoff games as possible at Ford. It's a great way to get exposure with HS athletes and I imagine it nets some money on the side for our athletic department.

Stallion-
I think that was the game that the Fox or Coyote ran across the field-Crazy.

yeah-Southlake Carroll played Desoto in Ford as well as Allen v. Desoto. Skyline has played Plano and Southlake Carroll in the last 2 years. I think Carthage or some big East Texas team played a 3A semi-final at Ford. Interestingly Traylon Shead played in high school at Ford. Can't get much bigger than these programs

Aledo, HP, Longview, and Coppell played in Ford at last year's Tom Landry Classic. Average attendance for that event in Ford Stadium is 22,500.
