Anybody know if this is an actual TV channel or is it only accessible via a PC or app?
Also, does it work on Apple TV?
I have U-verse in Dallas and want to have a watching party. But it would REALLY SUCK if a bunch of people came over and I couldn't access the game Sat night.
Any advice? Thanks!

it is an app, not a channel.
I use my apple TV, and it streams beautifully to the 60" in my living room. You can also watch on any apple device, cpu, etc. I get it through Charter (for free), my cable company. Watch ESPN is where you get ESPN 3 channel, and you can stream through smart TV, Smart Blu-ray player, or apple TV - your choice.
It is 10000X better than all-access!

ESPN 3 is an ESPN app found on mobile devices, consoles and other external sources. However some local stations will broadcast the game, such as Channel 47/1047 KTXD that shows the game of the week for the AAC (11AM). Im not sure if ESPN is a premium channel you have to buy as an add-on to your package because I would never chip in useless money when you can just play it through an xbox or ps.

Well, looks like I can get ESPN3 through Apple TV. Will try to sign up tonight and report whether I'm successful or not. My wife is a neuropsychologist (lot's of negative research regarding video games and ADHD, sensory overstimulation, etc.), so she won't let me have a PS or Xbox.

That's such a BS excuse...you're the man of the house so go and get your PS4 or Xbox and get it over with

Jusy an FYI - but this is not correct. ESPN3 is the digital channel. Channel 47 airs the AAC Game of the Week which is televised in syndication. ESPN3 games are not broadcast on traditional TV stations.

He's got Binky the Sock Puppet to keep him company and that's about it
ESPN 3 is great. No commercials either. They just play really annoying music during what should be the commercial breaks.

Video games are not a cause of negative behaviors but more of an indicator. I lived in the boonies so it was all I could do if my parents didn't want to drive me 20 miles to hang out. I still got straight A's and led the Varsity tennis team for 4 years. If I got nothing else done I'd say it was negative so as long as you show the wife you love her she should be able to give you an hour to relax and kill some bad guys.

Some of the best SMU games I have seen over the last decade are thanks to EA Sports. Where else can I experience SMU beat (insert team here) in front of a packed house at Ford?

I do not do video games so this is certainly not a commentary on them but I do find it ironic that you say they had no influence on you and at the same time you talk often of getting in the ring and punching and kicking someone.

That's because I am no collegiate athlete but I yearn for some fitness. I always liked martial arts so maybe video games are an indicator of my sociopath violent tendencies...
FEAR THE MALONISH!
