Similar to Tulane's decision and our building of Ford Stadium, Temple is struggling with student debt and a dilemma that continuing to play in the Eagles stadium is not a good option.

Good luck. Hopefully they've got several deep-pocketed alumni b/c building a football stadium nowadays is gonna run you $100M. Honestly when you think about how dreadful SMU football was when RGT and company were able to secure big money donors to build Ford you really have to be impressed. For all of his faults, RGT is an unbelievable fundraiser.

I've heard the Eagles are raising Temple's rental rates. . . They want Temple out of the Linc, and Temple should get out of the Linc.

Temple received a gift of $25M from an alumni to begin the fundraising...not bad.

Temple could definitely use an on-campus facility.
If they schedule a marquee OOC opponent like Penn State, they could always play that game at the Linc

The does seem to be the going rate. Colorado State wants to build a new stadium and they are in the process of trying to raise $100M as well.
