If my boss steps up my salary, I'd be more than happy to.

To quote my favorite weed-smoking, IRS-dodging, pig-tailed country singer:

"If you've got the money, honey, I've got the time."

Every game I attend I am in town. So obviously you can't be talking to me.

you have to have family support to do this - huge time sink away from family obligations, and I have a lot. I foresee me doing this once the kids are out of the house. I've flown back for a few home games and have been to 2 bowls. (last year, I was really really bummed I couldn't go - again, it was a family thing as my recently widowed father-in-law wanted to come spend christmas with us and didn't want to go to hawaii). my wife supports me watching the games, but not the time and cost to actually GO to Dallas (would rather us spend the time/money on other things) . . . and she thinks sports are the biggest waste of time/dumbest thing in the world -- but if I can get her to a game with great atmosphere she'd probably change her mind a little.

Just drop her off in Sherwood and she can sit with my wife and talk about how stupid sports are.

Does your wife know you've posted 18,000 times on an SMU athletics message board over the past ten years?

give her the article and point out that this is a woman doing this crazy thing.
then tell her she can go shopping while you go to the game.

Great. As a single guy in his mid-twenties, when I get married, I won't have to stop posting on PFs. Hallelujah.
