Who's the leader?

In recent years, this has been Jeryl Sasser's team. But with his play tailing off last year, not to mention the circus at the end of the year, I don't think he's the leader of the team anymore. I think this is Willie Davis' and Damon Hancock's team. Agree?

I agree. Question: think Sasser can handle playing a supporting role?

I think to the basketball team the leader may be Davis or Hancock, but to the media and fans, this is still Sasser's team. I sure hope he, or Willie or Damon, can handle the role.

Damon will run the point and this will be HIS team to lead. He's an unselfish player who will "set up" the stars (Sasser & Davis).

Good call. I think you saw this before anyone else. Damon has surprised me and I think is doing a great job as an on the court leader. He is setting up the stars and also giving himself some credit.

You could see last year that Damon had improved tremendously between his frosh & soph years. As he continues to gain confidence in his shooting, he will undoubtedly become the best all around player we've seen at SMU in a long, long time. Just might turn out to be a good NBA prospect, assuming he continues to improve.
