House divided time. I have a degree from LSU. My wife has two degrees from LSU and my oldest daughter has a degree from LSU.
My daughter grew up going to SMU football games (yes, a generation of watching crummy games) and still asks to go to games with me. She has attended two SMU bowl games (the ones on the mainland) even while a LSU student.
So for me, no doubt I will smell like a corndog but pull for the Stangs.
I guess the rest of the house will smell of corndog and pull for the Tigers.
I just hope I can keep from using my Pimp hand on 'em!

$1 corn dog night would be a good promotion for this one.

Talking (texting) smack to all my LSU buds. Sending 'We are gonna kick you corn dog smelling butts Monday. Kick 'em Stangs'.
No replies thus far.

Why in the world would you tell people that?

Ok, we'll talk slower so you all can keep up.

The one degree my wife and I share in common pays the bills. And it doesn't matter if it’s a degree from Harvard or LSU (SMU doesn’t' offer it), it still pays the same.
My daughter has a degree SMU doesn’t offer as well and LSU is excellent in her field.
However, when I tell people I went to SMU, they say, 'oh, you must be smart'. Feels good, too.
