literally every time I have checked the internet the last couple days there is news of a new commit. unreal

He's 6'0" and runs a 4.4. Good size/speed for a DB.

I know! I sure am glad they stepped up recruiting significantly.

This probably played a part in his decision. When you see quality kids commit, it gets you going as well. You can't underestimate the kind of recruiting that committed players have on other kids they want to join them. Proche and McCrary seemed to have this impact.

I was at the game where all the Cali recruits were attending together, it was agaist UH and we had a long, long rain delay. I gave them a quick Pony Up and thought it was a great strategy by Klemm to bring them all in together, to create that bond.

It was Devon Moreland, Connor Preston, Dontae Livingston and one more.

Seems like this staff maybe finally doing it right!

Having Steve Broussard in our staff, I am guessing we will see more California kids commit to SMU.

I was having Dinner Thursday with Coach Tom Mason (who recruited Williams) and his wife when he got the call from Christian Williams from Lincoln to commit. It sure made dinner fun! Mason was so glad to get him and have a presence back into Lincoln High and Dallas ISD.

How's he doing? Fully recovered?

I hate to throw cold water on this parade but I would suggest you look at the number and quality of offers most of these recruits have other than SMU before we declare this a great class.

pony fan - i think that is actually exactly why people are starting to get optimistic. The 10 or so we have right now have many options, and that is really different than we have seen in a loooooooong time.
