We have got to move the band closer in. I'm in 105 and could never hear them, and when I could the Baylor band would start to play and drown them out.
Other than that, the best game I have ever been to!

I really don't think baylor meant to play over varsity, I think they couldn't hear them. Couldn't hear them or the students, but I know they were yelling.

Student section was awesome and they stayed until mid 4th quarter when the game was out of hand. Yeah, that was annoying when the Baylor band played over varsity. They also played through our offense a few times, too bad they couldn't get a warning or a flag.

In section 124 never once heard the band the entire night. When they were in their old section much better sound projection.

A few times? The whole freaking game!
I do not understand how that was allowed to happen. Were they Big 12-2 refs?

The Baylor band is a low life organization much like Saint Grunt Taff. They have consistently played over other bands, disrespected other schools alma mater and tried to drown out the opponents offensive signals. Probably the only place they don't do it is Ft. Worth where an eve lower life form will kick their arse for doing that stuff.

Agreed on moving the band. Couldn't hear them at all last night.

Are they playing aimed in toward the bowl or straight ahead?

Straight ahead and I agree. I am in 104 and never heard them.

I had it the worst. Young alum section is right next to visiting band now. And yes, they were playing through the offense. I never heard our band from my seat.

Will it be possible to move the band mid-season or are we screwed since we already sold tickets in the rest of the stadium?

Never heard our band. Not once.
Also: once and for all, is there a rule against playing when the other team's offense is on the field? In the huddle? At the line?
If there's not, then you simply have to fight fire with fire. Recruit another 50-100 trumpets. They don't have to march. Hell, I don't care if they can actually play.

Yes and we've had penalties called on us before for band and PA music. But I believe that the coach must notify the official that his team's signals at the line of scrimmage are being disrupted.
