For you fisherman out there in the general forum I am trying to figure out which is the best unit to upgrade to. Any input is appreciated.

By follow the birds do you mean get one or do you mean you like your Lowrance better? One Trick Pony wrote:Follow the birds - I use a LoranceSMU 86 wrote:But the Elite series are good models but they do not have side scan. I was looking at the models that have side scan.
No problem MM, I appreciate the feedback.Mexmustang wrote:Can't help you then, gave up bass fishing for trout and steelhead when I moved to London 30 years ago. Use the Elite portable to locate trout in large lakes in Idaho, and the Nav feature when in a drift boat in the Frank Church Wilderness area.
Follow the seagulls they will take you to the fish and yes my Elite 3 is fine for my needs.SMU 86 wrote:By follow the birds do you mean get one or do you mean you like your Lowrance better? One Trick Pony wrote:Follow the birds - I use a LoranceSMU 86 wrote:But the Elite series are good models but they do not have side scan.
