I hate to look ahead but I can't help it. Beat Tulsa, pull off the upset at home on Homecoming and I believe we are in. The UCF homecoming game will be the most important game for this program in a very long time if we take care of business Friday. That is the type of buzz/win we need to get this thing going in the direction that TCU has for years.

Don't look ahead-beating UCF is a BIG LONGSHOT-that team is much better than SMU. This game is more important for the long term potential of this program-it is essential for SMU to be Bowl Eligible this year. Tulsa and Tulane are our best shots to get that done

Everyone knows I'm a UCF fan too, but I think the Mustangs will upset a team that they're not supposed to. USF or UCF.

Maybe the defense just has the game of their lives. But the ponies aren't getting ranked this year. Not on the Gridiron anyways.

We're going to beat Tulsa so I'll have to choose either Memphis or UCF no way this team can beat Navy

This defense won't hold the option , it's just as simple as that and I would bet money.

I agree we should not look ahead like that. Beat Tulsa first. If that is accomplished then at least the stress of "will we bowl eligible" goes away and the team can play aggressive against UCF. While i know it's a longshot, we said the same thing when we played Houston. Like my father-in-law said before the game, "SMU is going to shock the world". I highly doubt we will get ranked but maybe some votes. If we were to be even that more of a surprise and beat memphis and navy on the road then yes, I could see us in the 20-25 range.

UCF looks pretty good this year. I hear more about P5 schools wanting Scott Frost than I do Chad.

One or two top-100 wins doesn't get you in the top25.

we aren't a Top 50 team much less Top 25

This team might have to win out to make the top 25 and we all know how likely that is to happen
