While Jimmy Tubbs can certainly recruit south of downtown, the bigger question is can he really coach? Being the head coach in college hoops is a lot different than coaching some of those teams from Lancaster, Lincoln, and Kimball.

I know that there is a fondness for Jimmy Tubbs at SMU, but what has he done since he left for OU? Has the OU program improved? What recruits have they signed from the DFW area since Tubbs took that job?
