Will be interesting to see how many of these guys continue their NFL careers. The rules are:

Although each team has to trim their roster down to 53 players, that will not be each team's final roster. All 32 teams will be allowed to put in a waiver claim for any players who are cut and if they have a successful claim, that player will immediate join their 53-man roster and they'll have to make a corresponding cut.

All 32 teams will also start the process of putting together their practice squad. The practice squad can consist of up to 16 players and six of them can be veterans who have four or more years of experience. That means each team will be able to carry 69 players.

Chatman and Morstead are particularly surprising. My guess is neither is out of work for long.

Wouldn't be surprising to see Woods and maybe Harrison-Hunte land at least on a practice squad.

The Commanders play the Giants on week 1, they probably need another DL. I wouldn't be surprised to see them take a peek at Chapman.

Morstead doesn't seem too worried:

Who?

OT Marcus Bryant, who played at SMU before transferring to Mizzou, made the Patriots' roster.
New England also kept CB Brandon Crossley on the practice squad.
