Other games of interest

#25 Boise now down 31-7 in the 4th in Tampa.

NC State looked to be cruising against ECU 17-0 but gave up a long TD and now a turnover, letting the Pirates back into it.

Ohio has stormed back from 31-17 down to tie Rutgers in the 4th.

Duke looks putrid against Elon (3-3 in the 2nd) but happily no one is watching that one.

Methinks BoiseSt will no longer be ranked after this weekend...

Duke is still trying to figure out how to run the ball.

Wolfpack hangs on...maybe ECU was their "Nevada game"...

Duke still toying with the Musks...

Mensah put up video game numbers in the 2nd half making Duke fans feel good about having picked him up via the portal...but it was against Elon. NC State holds on to beat ECU in what over the years has been a pretty bitter rivalry game. When we lived in Durham, a fight broke out after their game that turned into a riot and the series was then cancelled for years. Good to see them playing each other again. I think those teams fought during their bowl game last year. A lot of bad blood there.

Charleston is right about NCSU-ECU. And ESPN also listed it as a prominent "under the radar" rivalry this week. It's more that ECU hates any NC ACC team, but they're geographically and culturally closest to NCSU and those teams play fairly regularly. ECU always overplays its talent level in those matchups, and it's never a given that State will win. Glad they did.

I'm afraid Duke's OL looks godawful. Eight days before #12 Illinois comes to town. Hope they figure it out.

Colorado scores 1st at home against Ga Tech and goes up 7-0. This is another game the ACC really needs to win as the ACC and Big XII argue which conference is the 3rd best football conference this year (assuming of course the B1G and SEC continue to rack up wins in their non-conference slates)

bu is playing pretty good against Auburn. Have mixed emotions. Usually like for bu to lose by 40 every game but if they win, and when we beat them next week, it will mean more. bu does get the prize for the ugliest uniforms ever conceived. When did they change their colors to black/grey and orange? Do they think it is Halloween already? The helmets must have been purchased at Big Lots going out of business sale.

40 point loss to last year's SEC co-mutt would be just fine. Don't overthink it...

7-3 Auburn at the end of the first quarter. Not really impressed with either team, but that's how it goes in the first game.

Baylor is having trouble stopping the Auburn running game...

God, Wake is losing to Kennesaw State. It sounds pathetic, but we kinda need them to win that.

Auburn has opened up a 17-7 lead and, the way things are going, if Baylor doesn't respond then this game could be over. Auburn is just running all over them and with the starting RB out the Bears receivers aren't doing much of anything.
