Worth pointing out there are about 4 or 5 that are listed as 'committed,' not 'signed.' It's happened before where a kid changes his commitment...

That usually indicates academic issues.

While two have signed I noticed Vandy received three point guard commits in this class. One from Oak Hill has not yet signed.

I am sure the phones have been blowing up lately. I am praying to hear some good news soon. Just some rebound news like a rebound girl. Not as high quality and much shorter lived but still helps the transition.t

problem with trying to grab an unsigned kid just to fill the PG backup spot is that a 2014 kid takes a 4 year commit. limiting us going forward. we have Sed coming in 15 and nic will be a senior. then hoepfully we can land Fox for 16 to go w/ Sedrick. where would that leave the guy we slapped in there this year?
what would be nice is to find a grad transfer w/ one year of immediate eligibility or a juco who may not have considered moving away from home, but now might because of a chance to play for LB.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

The biggest problem is that you can never predict the future. Better to have a solid player available backing up your next super star, if they actually commit, sign, register, maintain their eligibility, and don't leave early. Oh, and did I mention injuries?

This was my concern. However, maybe they can figure something out. One can hope.

I wonder if some fifth year senior PGs with their diploma and a year of eligibility left are looking for Larry's number right now...hell of a squad to get to join for a one-year run

Don't think he can make initial contact, but I could be wrong about that

I agree with people that taking just anyone to fill the backup PG slot might be lacking in foresight since its a 4 year commitment, but I'm thinking maybe that's mitigated a little by the fact that we have so many open spots the next 2 years because of our transfers and juniors/seniors graduating. Perhaps we can deal with 4-5 commits in the next class instead of 5-6?
