On July 13th, PowerMizzou.com broke the news that Mack Rhoades would leave Missouri to become the Director of Athletics at Baylor. Mizzou immediately named Rhoades' No. 2 Wren Baker as the interim AD. Since then, Baker has taken the Athletic Director job at North Texas and both Interim Chancellor Hank Foley and Deputy AD Sarah Reesman have been named interim directors at Mizzou.
At this time there is no official announcement of the hire from the University. Typically, the hire will need to be approved by the Board of Curators, so official word could take a few days.
