This is a huge step into the ranks of big-time football.
Well done, to all involved in making this happen.

Quality QB depth
With Van Dyke committing, we're now 5-deep -- Kevin Jennings, Tyler Van Dyke, Keldric Luster, Tyler Aaronson, Ty Hawkins -- in scholarship QBs, right?
Is that the deepest QB talent pool in school history?

I blame him for our basketball loss to UNC. He better step it up.

Re: Running it back
A lot of coaches have touched on this. The system, as it is currently set up, significantly penalizes programs that are good enough to play in conference title games and the CFP.

Sounds like a significant step up over anyone else we've played this year. Penn State OL and DL are awesome.

Re: Matt Cross named ACC Player of the Week
I confess I wasn't that excited when he signed (like the rest of you, I have never seen a UMass game).
But he's quickly becoming one of my favorite players.

They'd better be good. Lots of playing time available.

I'm one of our crazies ... and proud of it.
I guess the money SD "donated" to TCU buys him at least another year, no matter what happens on the field, but here's hoping they lose enough to make it a tough call for the Frog administration

Re: If you were Lashlee
I don't recall ever seeing a fullback in a Lashlee offense get any carries, but how cool would that be?
Also, imagine being a linebacker who has to try to bring down Smith and McFall all day, only to face a human battering ram like Eby. Bring it on!

Can't say I feel hugely optimistic about how that might play out.

Re: Tuesday games cancelled
It is not "the flu." Infection rate is far higher. When is the last time the flu killed 800k Americans in a year and a half?
I hope the school can manage protocols to the level that games can be played. We all need a break from the world around us every now and then... and this has looked good ...
