UT expanding in Houston

Given that there are several UH alumni (any Rice?) that post here I thought it would be interesting to get their take on this move by UT

I would think it would be like Proche. Proche keeps his scholarship with us but has to redshirt.

Given that he uses his stipend to pay for his brother's schooling back home I would hope so.

Re: Defensive turnover next year

I am interested to see how the Scotts play next year. There have already been a few WRs given shots as DBs, with Proche (hopefully) and Benson added to WR, anyone have a guess on any speed from the WRs that can be switched to DBs?

Also what happened to Badejo's teammate Jim-Lawson that committed ...

Re: Four AAC teams ranked in the Top 25

If the AAC and Navy have sustained success next year, I wonder if Air Force would reconsider joining, or if BYU gets rejected by the Big 12 will they change their tune.

Re: Four AAC teams ranked in the Top 25

Would be great to end the season with 3+ teams ranked so teams can start next year ranked and have at least a shot at the playoffs.

Re: Missouri

Good for the students to stand up for their beliefs. I wonder how the NCAA feels about student athletes becoming organized, especially if it results in real change.

Missouri players taking a stand against their school's president's failure to address racism on campus by going on strike. Seems faculty and coaches support them in their stand.

So he was turned off by that stuff at SMU, but OU has moved up his list? He didnt notice something about OU a few months ago that was much worse?

Really sorry that turned him off since I think it is 180 degrees from every experience I have had or heard while at the school and since graduation. If ...

Re: Clemson No. 1 in CFP rankings

Given that the Big 12 doesn't play a championship game, if they end up with all teams with at least one loss again this year, I could see a one loss PAC 12 champion leapfrogging over them.

Also not that it will happen, but since UNC only loss was at the first game of the season, if they win out ...
